- "Hanovers Rules"
- This rule set is intended for players to learn the flow of the game ond hone their skills.
-Blocks do not count as a touch
-No blocking or attacking a serve
-No Open Hand Receiving a serve (you may receive the ball whith your hands if they are both touching each other and the ball and maintain contact throughout the entire receiving action. If the hands come apart as the ball is leaving the contact it will be considered an open hand receive)
-Absolutely no setting over the net. Intentional or unintentional. It does not matter. This also means no sending the ball over the net when both hands are in separate contact with the ball (hands must be together for a ball to go over the net)
- Doubles will not be called, however, the ball must remain on the setting teams side.
-lifts and holds will be called
-No open hand redirecting the ball or dinks
- How do I pay, and is my spot held until I do?
- Your spot will not be confirmed until payment is received. We take payment by Venmo. Once payment is received the website will update within 48 hours. Leagues and tournaments fill on a first come first served basis depending on the time in which payment was received.
- How does reffing work?
- Each team will ref the game immediately before or after their scheduled game(s) of play. Only 1 or 2 of your teammates needs to ref, but we encourage everyone to be there to get to know the other teams and ensure a smooth game for everyone.
- Sub Rules
- A sub must be approved by the City Limit Sports staff by sending a message through Facebook, Instagram, or email. The sub must be deemed a similar or lower skill level than the original team member.
-Must get approval by 5pm the day of the league the sub is needed
-Failure to get approval will result in a forfiet being recorded in the score sheet
- What are the game rules?
- Best of 3 format with the 3rd game only played if it is needed. Rally scoring to 21 no cap. The third game is to 15 no cap with teams switching sides when one team hits 8 points.
- What is your refund and transfer policy?
- Full refund up to 14 days before the first match. Within 14 days we can transfer your spot to another team or player, but fees are non-refundable once the schedule is set.
